The research - carried out between the consulting firm Adapsys (former CLA Consulting), Acción Empresas and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce - aims to understand the challenges faced by the sustainability areas of different organizations through the responses of more than 300 people .

How are organizations facing their relationship with the environment? What is meant when we talk about sustainability? These are the questions that the study Sustainability Pulse 2024 - carried out collaboratively between the consulting firm Adapsys (former CLA Consulting), Acción Empresas and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce - aims to investigate and clarify through a collection of data, both quantitative and qualitative, through pre-field work that allows the study to be refined and hypotheses defined through interviews with area leaders in the different organizations.

Although this research is a continuation of previous versions, this year the premise of the study is based on two assumptions: on the one hand, that sustainability is an ambiguous concept and, on the other, that sustainability is a topic that is dispersed. in other areas.

“Since we started with the Sustainability Pulse In 2020, we have been able to not only have a valuable insight into how companies are addressing sustainability and facing their challenges, but also to be able to contribute our data to conversations within the companies themselves. This year, in addition, we want to go even deeper into understanding how companies are organizing themselves internally on this issue,” says Manuel José Pau, partner at Adapsys (former CLA Consulting) and expert who has led the research since its inception.

Achieving a deeper understanding of the results and having a study that can contribute to the development of sustainability is the great challenge for 2024, generating insights concrete that allow optimizing the sustainability strategies and practices of organizations.
